Christmas wrapping paper

Forest was asked to create a Christmas wrapping paper for the Norwegian design magazine D2. The illustration was full page print in the magazine among with five other (talented) illustrators and artists work. The illustrations was supposed to be used as a real wrapping paper by the readers. The artwork is inspired by the organic elements of Christmas and of the forest. I decided to avoid the obvious christmasy colors and go with a more subtle palette to give it a mysterious atmosphere.
